I dropped the frame off at Mikris Finishers for powder coating. The blue I was thinking of was not a standard RAL colour so possible but expensive. I went for the standard RAL 5024 Pastel blue instead. It’s a bit more of a sky blue and still looks good with the cream RAL 9001.
I considered a metallic lacquer but that adds an extra coat to the process so might have been too thick. I’m going with standard gloss.
Should be back some time around Christmas.
